PrepPad Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 17, 2026

PrepPad is a recipe keeper built to work on your device. This policy explains what data the app handles, what leaves your device, and how to remove it.

What stays on your device

What is collected if you sign in (optional)

PrepPad works fully without an account. If you choose to sign in with Google to back up your recipe box, the following is stored with Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) on PrepPad's behalf:

This data is used only to provide backup and sync. It is not used for advertising, not sold, and not shared with anyone else.

Ads

PrepPad shows ads through Google AdMob to help cover hosting and development costs. AdMob may collect or receive device, ad interaction, diagnostics, and approximate location information to deliver, measure, and improve ads. Where required, PrepPad asks for consent before requesting ads and provides an ad privacy choices entry point in Settings.

Your recipes, grocery lists, pantry, imported photos, and recognized recipe text are not shared with AdMob for ad targeting.

What PrepPad does not do

Deleting your data

Children

PrepPad is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
